Which smartphones does the iFind tag works on?
Currently the tag works with iOS devices with Bluetooth 4.0 (iPhone 4S and later, iPad 3rd generation and later) and Android devices with Bluetooth 4.0 support. We plan to launch the Windows application later.
Have your iFind at hand. Start the iFind application, press the “+” button and follow all the way through the tutorial pages. The iFind app will automatically recognize and add your new iFind to your account management table. There you can name your tag or even take a photo of your tagged items.
How many iFind tags can one mobile phone track at the same time?
As many as you want. Don’t hesitate to use the iFind tag with all your important items: key, purse, remote control, pet, bag, documents folders… Use your imagination.
How iFind Works
What's the dimension of iFind?
The battery-free design makes the iFind tag thin and light. At 1.25″x1.06″x0.09″ (32 x 27 x 2.4mm), it can be slipped into or attached to just about anything.
What's the range of the iFind tag?
The maximum range from your phone to the tag is approximately 60 meters (200 feet) within line of sight, or 50 ft depending on the environmental conditions.
Can the iFind Application show me the direction to the tag, if I cannot hear the sound?
Yes. The Energy screen can be used to approximate the distance of the iFind to your phone. In this way, you will know the direction of your iFind.
iFind not only stops searching, with the “Rope” function, it also stops losing. Just set a tag in “Rope” mode, and both tag and phone will beep when the tag is moving out of a pre-set range. Let “Rope” keep all your belongings safe with you, all the time.
What if my cellphone is missing?
Good question! iFind will take care of it, too. Simply shaking one of your tags, and your phone will beep!
Can other iFind application users help me to search for my iFind?
Yes. Every iFind has a unique ID. With the “UHelp” function of iFind APP, you can share this unique ID with your family, friends and trusted coworkers on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, or simply a message or an email, and they may help in finding the tag provided they use the App.

Can iFind be shipped internationally?
Currently, we are ready to provide free shipping for the continental USA. In the future, we will be rolling it out to other countries. For example, we have been made aware that there is extremely high demand for the iFind product in Canada and the EU. Therefore we are therefore working hard to make shipments available to these places, at a reasonable cost to the consumers.
Do you accept wholesale purchases?
This avenue of purchasing is more than welcome. If you wish to order more than 500 iFind tags, please feel free to contact us. We will gladly negotiate the price with you, and even customize a tag label for you.
General Questions
Do you have a 'lost-and-found network' among users?
We notice some competitors are claiming such concepts. The iFind team can definitely perform the same concept without any technical difficulty. However, based on the results of our marketing survey, we believe the network is not a high priority at the moment, for two reasons:
1. Low working efficiency, without a large user base,
2. Potential security concerns.
Currently, the iFind App allows you to share the (encrypted) ID of a lost tag via SMS/IM/SNS. These contacts (typically your family, friends and trusted co-workers) can download the ID to their iFind App, and help you locate the lost tag.
Meanwhile, a more effective innovative network is under development by the iFind team, and users with the current tag will be able to access the network seamlessly in the near future.
I want to tag my dog/cat, but is it safe for them to wear iFind?
Yes. The iFind tag is environmentally friendly as it uses no batteries and is made of a biocompatible plastic. You, your pets and your surroundings are completely safe with iFind tags.
Yes, the iFind tag is water resistant. That means your iFind is safe even when you accidentally spill some water on it. Just please don’t swim or shower with it.
No. We believe this is wrong, technically and morally. This will consume your phone’s battery and reduce your phone standby time. It also has a privacy issue.
Have you considered to protect your customer's information?
Yes. We take this matter of the utmost importance and priority. We use several high level encryption codes to protect all of your information.
Since we will not open your Bluetooth when you don’t need it, it does not have any residual electromagnetic radiation. Even when iFind is working, the radiation is only 0.01% of an ordinary phone’s radiation. This means iFind has no potential harm to your health.
